Bolton Agnew: age 61
Qualified as a solicitor in 1976, emigrated to Canada where he worked as legal counsel overseeing seismic exploration contracts for Shell Canada. Returned to the UK after 8 years and founded Practical Car and Van Rental one of the largest franchise operations in the UK. In 2003 founded Rival Insurance an internet based insurance provider to car rental operators.
Director of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
David Tibble: Age 59
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977. After qualifying he entered industry and spent 24 years in senior finance roles in FMCG, retail, manufacturing and finally joining Hays PLC in 1992 as Group Finance Director. He left in 2001 to set up WNS Global Services a global supplier of business process outsourcing services. As founding chairman and CEO he oversaw significant growth in turnover and profit until the business was floated on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2006 at an $800m valuation. In this time the numbers of employees grew from 1,200 to 12,000.
Theodore Agnew: age 51
After spending 10 years in Australia founded Town & Country Assistance in 1989. Grew this business to annual gross revenues of £40mill pa and sold it to Warburg Pincus in 2002. Theodore then became a co founder of WNS Global Services.
Theodore is currently a non-executive director of Jubilee Managing Agency Ltd a Lloyd’s insurance business managing £130mill of premiums.
Trustee of Policy Exchange a Westminster based Think Tank.
Justin Dewinter: Age 44
Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992. Justin has 15 years commercial experience as finance and operations director with a number of rapidly growing private businesses including Whistles, LK Bennett and Pentland with turnovers ranging from £10m to £70m. Justin has experience of both buying and selling companies, corporate restructuring and corporate turnarounds.
